Suite à l'extension marine du site Natura 2000 "Belle-Île-en-Mer" (FR5300032), une collaboration s'est mise en place entre la Communauté de Communes de Belle-Île-en-Mer (CCBI), le CRPMEM-Bretagne, le CDPMEM-Morbihan et la DREAL-Bretagne afin de mener des actions intégrant les métiers de la pêche à la démarche Natura 2000. Ce projet est largement financé par le Fonds Européen pour la Pêche Axe 4 (FEP), géré par le Pays d'Auray, visant à encourager le développement durable des zones de pêche et de l'aquaculture. read more

Marine Scotland have been having meetings with a large number of representatives of the various organisations and interests who have been involved in the MPA identification process to gather comments on the handbook. The purpose of the handbook is to provide general guidance on how management needs of all components of the Marine Protected Area (MPA) network will be assessed, and how requisite management measures will be developed and implemented as required. This is being done with the aim of implementing any required measures by the end of 2016. read more
