MAIA is a European cooperation project with the aim of creating a network of MPA managers and stakeholders. Spearheading initiative in MPA designation, governance and management on an international scale, this technical group works to develop a recognized, coordinated, effective and representative network of marine protected areas in the Atlantic arc.
