This report follows a bibliographic MAIA report : « Searching a socio-economics indicator for professional fishing monitoring in an Aquitaine MPA".
An indicator was chosen for fishing boats MPA-dependance monitoring. It was implemented on 7 boats, in order to test it.
This indicator needs the gathering of data by means of fishermen survey, but this kind of survey remains quite simple. Indicator testing gave interesting results, including when calculated for each fleet.
