This working afternoon is dedicated to the fishing professionals and to the MPA managers, in order to feedback on the RECOPESCA device as follow-up tool. This project for small scale fisheries monitoring is implemented by the French institute Ifremer thanks to the direct participation of the fishermen, the ships playing the role of scientific observers. The majority of the current MPAs are coastal and this type of device will allow a better knowledge of the location of the fishing activities.
